Angioplasty
Recently did IVUS (Intravascular ultra sound guided ) multivessel Coronary angioplasty.
Advantages :Exact stent sizing ,stent position ,stent apposition ,optimal stent expansion and use of very low contrast .Reduces stent thrombosis and repeat revascularisation.
We did a rare percutaneous intervention successfully by closing large left levoatrial cardinal vein connecting left superior pulmonary vein to left brachiocephalic vein causing significant L-R shunt and severe PAH .It was closed with 24 mm vascular plug.
Yesterday successfully performed a percutaneous ASD (Atrial septal defect ) closure with Amplatzer 26 mm device under Transesophageal guidance in 45 year old lady.
